Dear Jake- Love you by the way~~ So back in the day when you were on Degrassi (which I am obsessed with ever since they put it on MTV and I am 21 is that sad??). I was wondering my fav love interest was Ellie but who was your fav girlfriend on Degrassi??

I know you got your start in musical theater, do you prefer it over television?

Do you ever feel insulted by or dislike fans seeming to be more interested in your other work(like the crazy number of degrassi fans) than the show? I'm not sure if that would be seen as a positive or a negative, but one of the times that I was at the stage door in D.C., a huge group of girls came up asking for autographs because they "love craig so much"!

I don't really know much about you, me not being a degrassi fan and such. But my friend Christina is and she is practically in love with you (in a fan and not creepy way.) For all of us guilty ones across the nation who have yet to see you yet, can you sing something for us so we can get to know and love you and be really excited for when we get to see you on the show. It can be anything! Even happy birthday or the itsy bitsy spider.

Having been a fan of yours since your first appearance on Degrassi and having met you twice at Degrassi events in NY, I was completely ecstatic when you joined the show I had fallen so in love with, Spring Awakening. I've had a lot of trouble phrasing this question the best way possible but here it is. Has it been difficult for you to break away from being the "Craig Manning" people saw on television to becoming "Melchior Gabor" on stage and yet also staying true to "Jake Epstein" when you leave the theatre?

As most everyone else who has posed a question, I am a big admirer and really appreciate your work and musical talent. I saw the show in January when Kyle was playing Melchi still, and I must admit that I teared up massively whenever I read that he was no longer in the show, but squealed with shock and excitement to see who his replacement was. I am so anxious to see you in the show, but it won't be near me until March so I wonder: do you have plans to stay on with Spring Awakening for a while? What other things would you like to do in your future (theatrically, musically, film, life in general, etc.)? What advice do you have for a theatrical actor who wants to transition and incorporate passion into profession?
