Spring Awakening Tour: Audition Cut Medley - Part 2
It's Part 2 of our video from the Spring It On Rochester cabaret. Both Christy Altomare and Kimiko Glenn auditioned with a rendition of "River" by Jonie Mitchell while Taylor Trensch keeps it in the SA family of tunes with "Left Behind." Krystina Alabado takes it back to contemporary with Michelle Branch's "Everywhere" and Ben Fankhauser sings "On The Way Down" by Ryan Cabrera and Steffi D ends the medley with a song from a fellow Canadian, "Angel", by Sarah McLachlan. Leave comments below, and if you've ever auditioned for Spring Awakening before, let the community know what song you chose. Enjoy!

Isn't Ben's song "On the Way Down" by Ryan Cabrera not "All the Way Down"? The lyrics match the first song but not the second one
Incredible! i'm too young to audition, but if i did, i would go with come away with me by norah jones. :)
wow steffi! i got goosebumps. they were all amazing.
i dont know what to sing for my audition.
im planning on auditioning for the non-equity tour. any details on that yet?
Anonymous--we're not organizing the non-union tour, but no doubt they will post an audition announcement and when they do, we'll re-post it here.
Trisha--you're so right! Oops! Thanks so much. I'm editing the post now.
aww...so you're not going to be managing the website for the non-union tour, pun? :(
and i assume michael mayer isn't going to direct it either...?
It depends on whether they want to keep the same marketing team, Anonymous. They havn't decided anything yet. You're right, Michael will not be directing--as a union director, he would not be able to--they may pay him a fee to license his staging and hire someone else to implement it, or we may very well see an entirely new take on the show we love so much--which is also kinda exciting. I have no idea, but I'm sure the show will be in good hands.
wow....
