Seasons Of Spring - A look back at our first year
How do you measure a year? Hundreds of performances, kisses, videos and blog posts later, the cast of Spring Awakening have shared some of their most fun, exciting, and touching moments on the road, spreading the SA love across the country, performing to thousands every night. Before we embark on our second year with some old and new faces, Freddy Hall wanted to create a video to look back and ask...how do you measure a year? Thanks Freddy!
And feel free to post a comment below on what has been your favorite videos, photo, or blog captured this past year.

WHAT!!! Claire did not just say that! LOL.
Stephy D's was cute too!
I know..my jaw dropped too...until I realized she actually said..."number of times I came...back."
LOL
Ahaha! I just understood what Claire said. It was very SA appropriate I guess.
What was that version of "Seasons of Love"? It's great!
AAAAAWWWW!!!!
i love the pictures and answers everyone gave. haha
steffi's was funny.
and i'm so excited for the 2nd leg of the tour and see all the new adventures you have. :D
That video was amazing. Thank you so much for putting it together for us! <3
my favorite SA video of all time is still the "Dressing Room Rehearsal" video with Steffi and Blake doing their Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind dialogue with the foam ball...priceless!
I saw SA when it came to Louisville,Ky. This has to be by FAR my favorite musical and I really don't think anyone else could have done it better. When I met everyone after the show, you all were so nice and such humble performers!!!!
It's sad that not all of the cast will go onto the 2nd tour but I just wanted to say that you all are absolutely AMAZING performers, everytime I perform I just have to activate my SA energy and Im completely pumped for a show :D haha
I'm gonna cry. :'(
happy tears for a great year. i cant believe so much has happened. it really feels like just yesterday i fell in love with the spring awakening tour cast and now look how far everyone's come.
but also sad tears for all the people leaving.
it's amazing how much spring awakening has changed all of our lives so much.
i can truly say i will never be the same...and that's a good thing :)
I measure my year in:
1. How many Spring Awakening videos I've watched
2. How many times I listened to Spring Awakening songs
3. How many times I cried because of how happy Spring Awakening made me, and how much I miss watching the show.
4. How many times I fell in love with a Spring Awakening cast member.
i really think the tour cast should record a spring awakening album
b/c its listening to the OBC has a different effect than listening to the tour cast...
no offense to the other casts b/c everyone is good and i have loved all the casts....but i like the tour better and would love to listen to a CD of them.
This first year has been so amazing - falling in love with this talented cast, falling more in love with the show than I'd thought possible, watching all of those great videos. You get such a feeling of nostalgia just thinking about it all. Thank you, Spring Awakening and tour cast, for changing our lives.
@Anonymous: I think there should be a tour cast recording too! How can we make that happen?
I saw the Tour Cast almost a year ago when they came to Portland, and not a day has passed when I haven't listened to the songs, thought about the story and message, and all around obsessed over this show. Good luck for the upcoming year!
Where did you get the "Seasons of Love" Remix?? So appropo.
