This was the venue's stance: "Unfortunately, due to our license, we are nor allowed to have persons under the age of 18 in our building after 11pm. So, yes, that is the last word."
We tried...but at least you don't have to be 21! Here's all the info:

Whaaaat?? I was so ready to go!! :[
This sucks. A lot.
Aw. My parents were totally up for taking me. :(
So even if accompanied by an adult, minors aren't allowed in?
Man. I was so looking forward to it.
yeah, I'm not so psyched about that. I really wanted to go! Stupid 5 months too young, too! Grr.
aww, that sucks, i really wish i could have come! i hate being underage ): oh well, i know everyone will do an awesome job, and it will be great for those who can go
Is this being publicized at all, outside this list? Town Dance Boutique doesn't have anything on it's web site. Who's performing, and what will the "Spring Awakening" cast do?
Who will be performing: the Spring Awakening cast. As for their set list, in the words of Steffi D, 'it's a surprise!' this is basically Perry's goodbye.
what was the song that Julie Benko sang at the cabaret called? The "perfect man for me" song? I tried looking for it online but no luck
I want to thank the cast/crew/creative team for bringing the show to DC this summer. It was the Spring Awakening my 40-something soul needed.
