$39 Rush Tickets for Spring Awakening at the Kennedy Center, DC

The Kennedy Center is thrilled to announce... GUILTY PLEASURES.

You've helped to make Spring Awakening a hit in DC and we could not have done it without you! As a special thank you, a limited number of $39 tickets are now available on the day of performance one hour prior to show time (6:30 PM for 7:30 PM performances; 12:30 PM for 1:30 PM matinees) for any remaining seat (excluding box tier).

Be sure to mention the secret code “GUILTY PLEASURE” in-person at the box office only to qualify for this special price; limit 2 tickets per person; subject to availability. Call 202-467-4600 before you come to verify tickets are on hand; first come, first serve.

Come and see us again! Only two more weeks left in DC.

I've also updated our DC review thread with the latest reviews as well as a video of Christy and Jake's interview on Let's Talk Live. Some hilarious reviews this time around with The Onion calling Melchoir's sex pamphlet an "illustrated, Germanic 'Are You There, God, It's Me Margaret," a quote from the "great, sage" Bristol Palin, and DC Met Blogs saying, "It’s like American Pie but classier and with music and dance!" BWHAHAHAHAAAA

Oh goodness... If I had only checked my blog before we left DC... The day before I came back to Ohio, 3 friends and I wanted to see the show one last time. We went to the box office and asked about the $25 tickets... They were out and we'd been talking to the lady behind us (about how much we love the show) and she asked how much we were willing to pay. I said $40 (we were all low on cash at the end of the trip) and she said she'd pay for the rest of our $60 tickets! It was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me! She's going to see the show later this week, so I hope she enjoys it!

spring awakening should sell "spring awakening" stensils. that way people could show their rebellious side and have the logo printed on their skin. :P just as a temp tattoo or something would be really cool.
