Spring Awakening Tour: Matt Doyle's Last Day
It's so hard to say goodbye - but alas, Matt Doyle departs the tour after 2 years and 1 month since his SA Broadway debut. Catch his last moments as Melchior as he starts his new "bright future." We all wish him well and can't wait to tune in to see him on Gossip Girl. Adieu, Adieu.

Matt's last show was fantastic, and I'm very fortunate I got to see it. He's so ridiculously talented, and I'm sure I speak for many people when I say I'm looking forward to the next era in his career, too. He has a bright future indeed.

I'm so glad I finally go to see Matt's Melchior! I bought tickets to see the Toronto run before the news was delivered the Kyle would miss most of it. What a gift that I got to see Matt! AMAZING AND FANTABULOUS! I got to see his 2nd to the last perfomance. Again, what a gift!
OMG MATT! So sad to see you go. Such a bittersweet moment. I so wish I could've seen you perform as Melchior. But I did watch you as Hanschen when you were on Bway, and you are undeniably amazing. So sorry I couldn't watch, but I live on Guam and all... Can't wait to see you on Gossip Girl! :D You're amazing!
Matt Doyle is so amazingly talented. He has a great future ahead of him, whether it be on television or on Broadway. I am sooo glad I've seen him perform as Hanschen, although I would have loved to see him as Melchior. We love you, Matt!
i was watching a video of purple summer and was wondering if anyone knew why some of the cast kneels during the middle of the song? i've tried to figure out the reasoning behind it, but it just seems so odd to me, especially since only certain people do it... anyone know why?

just a follow up question concerning rozzie's question:
do you know when any of the cast members are going to leave the tour? and which ones will be leaving.
not that i want to see any of them leave. but i'm trying to plan my trip to watch SA around certain dates of the performances, and would like to know who will still be there when i watch spring awakening.
I've thankfully seen both Matt and Kyle -- both are absolutely fantastic! I was on stage for Matt -- amazing butt. I'm just wondering now who does Christy prefer during "I Believe"?
I just want to say, Matt Doyle was a true inspiration to me personally (the person who inspired me to do theater in the first place) and yeah he was great as Hanschen when I saw him in Broadway last summer. He has a bright future ahead of him and I hope to see him on stage or on film very soon :) I wished I got to see him as Melchior though . . . Well, good luck Matt Doyle in anything you do in the future and hope to see you too.
Rozzie, Nonny--You'll know when I know and/or when I am allowed to reveal it. As of now, most of the cast members have not decided whether or not to renew their contracts, so there's no point in worrying about it. The most accurate and up to date info will come from the cast members themselves.
