im going to try to see you guys in los angeles. im from dallas and i go to the arts magnet there ive been really wanting to see spring awakening for a couple months now. im going to be auditioning for a school in orange county so its going to work out. it would be awsome to talk to the cast.
You're in Spring Awakening, you can do whatever you want! Except spit on somebody's head...
It was something of a relief when Andy panned to Lucas at the end. "Not gone......" I wonder what sort of hijinks he got up to in those long hours shopping solo? The world may never know.
Also, regarding the tapas feature: I'm glad I'm not the only one who turns historical tidbits on restaurant menus into dramatic (and informative!) monologues. Salud, Perry!
Ben should have totally played the piano! Last time when I was there with my friends (I think it was after watching A Chorus Line) a bunch of girls were banging on the piano. You would have showed them!
I totally stumbled across your blog by accident when looking at the Spring Awakening page...but since my husband and I recently saw your show in San Francisco I thought I would take the time to comment! We loved it! You are all amazing young performers! We honestly had no idea what to expect (having kids tends to keep you busy) but we followed the hype and are thrilled we did! You all were fantastic, not only with your talents, but in creating the perspective, depth, and intensity that the play deserved. Thank you for doing what you do so well!
Hooray, SF is glad to have you! I hope you guys get to do some less touristy stuff as well. (Thrift store shopping in the mission? dim sum in the sunset? getting groped on muni? Wait, scratch that last one.) I've seen the show in SF four times now, and I'm moving to Portland in two weeks and just got really excited as I realized I'd be in town for the shows there as well. Is this ridiculous? Perhaps. Actually, yes. Yes it is. Now I have to pretend my ridiculousness is nonexistent. But still, it'll be nice to see you guys both in the city where I grew up and my new home. Yay tour!
